Rex Fowler & Friends Holiday Show! Performing Aztec Two-Step
December 14 at 8:00 pm

Aztec Two-Step fan favorites, forgotten gems, and Holiday sing along tunes!
Originating from a chance meeting at a Boston folk club open mic night in 1971, Aztec Two-Step burst on the scene in ‘72 with their self-titled debut album on Elektra Records. Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman went on to spend a lifetime making music together. Now, after 47 years of touring, Neal has taken an indefinite hiatus following the passing of his beloved wife Karen, and Rex moves forward with the Aztec Two-Step legacy, welcoming the incomparable Steven “Muddy” Roues (The Roues Brothers, Jon Pousette-Dart) on upright bass, blues harp and vocals; and on guitars, keyboards and vocals, the multi-talented Dodie Pettit (Broadway’s CATS; and original cast member of The Phantom of the Opera).
Rex and Friends have been touring with the Aztec Two-Step catalog to rousing reviews:  “Amazing show at the Courthouse. Classic Aztec with a twist. Go see Rex, Dodie and Muddy. You won’t be disappointed!”  “Great show. Will always miss Neal, but Rex’s new configuration maintains the integrity of the ATS music that fans love and also brings in some new directions.”  “You made my day! The show with Rex and Friends in Sarasota was fantastic! Look forward to seeing you again.”
